Important:
Before placing an order please check that the items of furniture will fit through any passages, stairwells, landings and doorways on the way to the destination room, Lewis Furniture cannot be held responsible if an item ‘does not fit’. Delivery personnel cannot assemble products, remove packaging or dispose of old furniture.
Delivery:
We offer FREE DELIVERY to your room of choice, using our own drivers on orders over £1000 delivered to addresses within an 8 mile radius of the store, generally postcodes TW, KT, some GU and some SL (orders under £1000 incur a charge of £20). You may collect items in person free of charge from our showroom, in Staines. Elsewhere mainland UK delivery, excluding Northern Scotland, is between £50-£85 depending on postcode, regardless of order value and is delivered to your front door only via a third party courier company. Unfortunately we cannot deliver to the Isle of Wight. We reserve the right to make additional delivery charges inside the ‘congestion zone’.

Lewis Furniture will deliver via courier for a delivery charge of £50 to the following postcodes: AL, B, BA, BH, BN, BR, CM, CR, CV, DA, E, EC, EN, GL, HA, HP, IG, LU, N, NW, NN, ME, MK, OX, PO (excluding Isle of Wight), RG, RH, RM, SE, SG, SN, SM, SO, SP, SS, SW,TN, WC, WD and W (West London).
All other areas will incur an £85 delivery charge, unless marked X above. Please phone for a quote for delivery to the areas marked X before you place your order.
We aim to deliver your items within the timescale quoted on our website when you place your order. If circumstances change we will keep you informed. However Lewis Furniture cannot be held liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our control. When an order for multiple items has placed we will deliver them all together by the longest lead time quoted.
We will contact you with a firm delivery date when the items come into stock and arrange a mutually convenient day for delivery. All deliveries are signed for. If you are out when the couriers arrive they will leave a card with a contact number for you to call and arrange a delivery at a future date.
All items are checked for defects before they leave our warehouse however if the goods are found to be either faulty or damaged in any way upon receipt, you must keep all the packaging and contact us as soon as you discover it, but no later than 3 days after delivery. We will arrange a replacement as soon as possible.
You will become the owner of the items (and be liable for the loss or destruction of the items) at the time of delivery, provided that we have received payment in full for the items.
Returns:
Unwanted items may be returned to us within 7 working days for a full refund of the product value, provided they are in the original packaging or similar and in the same condition they were in at the time of delivery. The cost of returning the items would be the responsibility of the consumer. Due to the intimate nature of Beds, mattresses, pillows, mattress protectors, sofabeds etc, these items are exempt from the statutory 7 day cooling off period under the Distance Selling Regulations when they have been unsealed. Therefore, for reasons of health and hygiene any bed, mattress or bedding that has been unsealed will be deemed to be used and cannot be returned for any reason other than a manufacturing fault. For made-to-order Products (where the Buyer has selected a fabric -i.e.a sofa bed, sofa, headboard or other similar or if a special size bed or mattress is ordered) a charge of 20% will be deducted from the refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.
